This long-standing event has been the season opener in the calendar for MG and Triumph enthusiasts for over 20 years now and is proof if ever it were needed that MG and Triumph cars are still at the heart of the classic car scene.
Whilst Duckhams association with Ford in motor racing transcended just about every strain of the sport, including the BTCC RS500’s and Mondeo’s, Formula Ford Van Diemen team, Team Surtees Ford in F1 and so many others – they enjoyed particular success in rallying.
Duckhams history with Alec Issigonis’s motoring masterpiece, the Mini, is a long and happy one. The story begins in 1959 when BMC (British Motor Corporation) launched a groundbreaking ‘Mini’ version of incredibly popular Morris Minor.
Following the successful re-launch of the iconic Duckhams Q20w-50 oil at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November, ten lucky winners were selected to receive commemorative collectors edition gallon cans.
